In the photo above, we worked with related companies to create the stone pond, and then utilizing our own in house resources, we created a unique dynamic water feature.
The pond features five - 5 foot tall glazed clay pots, seated on aluminum pedestals which hold the bottom of the pots just above the pond water level. Each pot has its own icicle fountain head, that can be individually controlled. The whole fountain is run with a 3/4 Hp submersed water pump, which is remotely controlled either from inside the house or through an internet connected app.
The gate project shown above, is made out of a combination of stone, concrete, steel and premium 5/4" cedar wood.
The gate stone walls are supported on cast in place concrete piles, and the wing fences are supported by our proprietary steel fence support posts.
Each side of the gate is 9 feet wide x 6 feet tall, and was custom constructed in our shop, along with the curls, the steel roses and the grate at the bottom. Each gate side weighs approximately 500 pounds, and each side is supported on 3 - 7 inch long welded in place steel hinges.
The gate is remotely controlled, and can also be operated from either of the two keypads, one located on the exterior and one on the interior of the gate, or by internet connected application. The electronics also includes an automated vehicle opening sensor on the secure side of the gate and obstruction sensors to safeguard opening and closing.
Gate closing is automatic, based on an internal timer, which can be set up by the operator.
The gate mechanism also includes a 1200 pound force electromagnet to hold the gate tightly closed and secure.
Although the gate is run off of main power, it has it's own, self charging battery system to ensure continued operation during power outages.
The gate wall LED lights are triggered by automatic light sensors to turn on at night and off in the morning.
